ABC Diabetes Education Program
Managing your diabetes can seem overwhelming at times. While your physician sets up the treatment plan, it's you who must make important decisions about diet, exercise, and at times, insulin dosing.
The goal of Northeastern Hospital's ABC Diabetes Education Program is to help you learn to confidently manage your diabetes. Whether you've had diabetes for many years or are newly diagnosed, we help you learn everything you need to know to deal with the day-to-day challenges living with diabetes can bring. We personalize diabetes education to your needs in a supportive community setting, and provide the most up-to-date knowledge to help you better manage treatment at a pace most comfortable for you.
Northeastern's ABC Diabetes Education Program includes classes that focus on your needs with real-life situations. Classes provide a relaxed learning atmosphere and are designed to complement physician care. You will meet other people with diabetes who share your concerns and offer support.
